Augmented Lecture

Where does Nature begin and end in our bodies? Human beings and their creations are considered somehow separate from other aspects of earthly existence. "Extended Synthesis", is a polyphonic lecture that emphasises the value of balance between our bodies and the different external environments. These are the environments in which we live, who and what surrounds us and who lives about us. The balance of our psychological, physical and environmental ecologies, the microbial balance on our bodies and the balance of these inter- and intra-human and non-human actions. Transcending the idea that we can return to Mother Nature 'Extended Synthesis' is a tool for understanding the body, its orientation and how we understand physiological individuality.
